As
Android users have got the news of launch of latest Android
5.0 Lollipop,
they must be wishing to upgrade their mobile to the latest version.
Yes Google Inc. has announced the upgrade new and many of the big
brands started planning to receive updates. Many of them will get
this newer update very soon and many of them will have to wait for
several weeks or months.
But the big news
is now users can get the latest version but along with there is a big
question how long will they have to wait for it? Well several
companies have confirmed about their update but many other are still
quite and didn't made any comment about about that.
Some brands who have scheduled their Android 5.0 Lollipop update :
Google
There is a good
news for Nexus users. Older devices will get the update soon when the
new Nexus 6 smartphone and the Nexus 9 tablet will get released into
the the market. These biggies are getting launched in November then
its surely a good news for nexus users.
Motorola
This
big hardware manufacturer has also confirmed about updates for its
several devices including Moto X, Moto G, Moto G LTE, Moto E, Droid
Maxx, Droid Mini as well as Droid Ultra. But the company has not made
any comment about the update timeline yet. But
good news can expected.
HTC
This
handset giant has also confirmed about updates soon after the launch
of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The company hasn't cleared anything about
the upcoming models HTC One(M7) and (M8) software version. The
company will soon reveal some secrets for the anxious users waiting
for update.
Sony
Sony
has already confirmed that its entire xperia z line will recieve an
update of Android 5.0 lollipop, including the xperia z, xperia zl,
xperia zr, xperia tablet z, xperia z1, xperia z1s, xperia z ultra,
xperia z1 compact, xperia z2, xperia z2 tablet, xperia z3, xperia
z3v, xperia z3 compact and xperia z3 tablet compact. But company has
also mentioned that it will start updating Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3
lines in early 2015 and further informations will shared on companies
blog and twitter.
Samsung
Samsung has not
made any official confirmation about the update but at least one oif
its devices (Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play edition) will mostly
probably get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update first. Other devices
which are also expected to recieve the update are Galaxy Note 4,
Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4.
LG
LG is also
following the same strategy as like Smasung. It has also not made any
legal confirmation about the update but one device that is more
likely expected to receive the update is LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play
edition. It should be the first devices of this company which can
receive the Android 5.0. Other devices like LG G3, LG G2 and LG G2
Pro are also being expected to receive an update.
